a politic explores the dynamic between politics, art, creative persuasion, and media access/influence while seeking to uncover what is of central interest in our current political atmosphere. Complete with voting booths for ‘best in show’ and interactive stations, a politic will inspire our public freedom to consider and express a politic.
a politic will run from July 2 through August 16 at Gallery XIV Boston. The preview event on Wednesday, July 2nd coincides with the signing of America’s Declaration of Independence and will feature performances, food, cocktails and an artist salon; the exhibition will open on Friday, July 4th. Extensive programming is scheduled during the run of the show. Winning works determined by popular vote and curator picks will be announced July 4th.
