SUBMISSIONS BY POST/COURIER: Artists choosing to submit works/proposals/documents by post or
courier may send them with a completed entry form (with the proper entry fee enclosed) directly to
either of the e v+ a contact addresses given below. To be eligible for adjudication such submissions
must arrive on or before the final closing date: Friday 28th November 2008. Artists are responsible
for insuring such work while in transit.

PLEASE NOTE: no submissions may be made or accepted by means of fax or email. Application forms
may be accessed through the web site www.eva.ie but must be submitted directly by hand or by
post/courier.

e v+ a exhibition of visual+ art Irelands pre eminent annual exhibition of contemporary art is about to enter its 33rd year and the e v+ a Committee is delighted to announce OPEN e v+ a 2009 Co Curators Angelika Nollert, Director of the New Museum for Art and Design in Nurenberg, and Yilmaz
Dziewior, Director of the Kunstverein in Hamburg.Final Submission Date: 5pm on 28th November 2008
SUBMISSIONS MADE DIRECTLY, IN IRELAND: Artists may submit their work or proposals and
documentation directly, with the completed application form and entry fee enclosed, at the specified
collection points and on the dates and at the times indicated on the above schedule. Please note: the
cooperation of the various drop centres depends on work being submitted and collected only on the
dates and at the times specified. The centres will not and cannot be expected to handle artists work
before or after these dates and times. Artists themselves must arrange for the timely delivery of their
submissions to and from these centres.
